I tried to place a desert order at 9:50 pm tonight when it clearly states closing at 11:00 pm I was told they were closed and when I said why she said I want to and hung up, I called back to see if I was disconnected and hung up on again...?
The food is absolutely delicious!!! I only have one critique - no matter what I order (ie: tonight I ordered veggie fried rice) tastes slightly of fish. It causes concern of cross contamination of the oils. blech
MoreIf you've never had decent thai food this place may be ok. Everything was subpar.
MoreIt was okay. Food was hot, decent size, but it wasn't that tasty. We'd go back and give them another shot.
Moregood menu selection, shrimp cakes were fantastic, spring rolls not so great, excellent service, food not as spicy as I like , prices very fair to portion sizes
MoreBeen going here for at least 10 years. I live a few towns over and drive 25 minutes for this, even though I have a Thai restaurant 3 minutes from my house. We went last night for dinner and the restaurant looked great! Cute fall decor like golden pumpkins, little animal figurines like owls and foxes. There was also fresh autumn flowers on each table. It was such a nice touch and I appreciate when restaurants invest in decor and the ambiance. The food was amazing. Literally everything we had was perfect and the 2 waitresses were beyond friendly and accommodating when we made special requests. Highly recommend drunken noodles, tom kai kai coconut soup, salad with peanut dressing, veggie springrolls, chicken satay, and their amazing coconut sticky rice for dessert.
MoreOrdered take out, food was average. Very small portions and rice was burnt in the bottom. Pad Thai was too sweet, not enough spicy flavor.Won’t be coming back.
MoreGood people and good food. I love Panang curry the most here (they make this curry little on spicy side). Recommended.
MoreBest Thai. Great lunch specials. Below is sweet and sour chicken and tofu.
We ordered pure vegetarian fare and asked for removal of chicken and egg items by including vegetables instead. They accepted our request. Thai food was palatable and light on the stomach
MoreThese guys are great. If you don’t like your food spicy at all, they’ll def accommodate AND the food is so good. Been here a handful of times and totally worth the drive
MoreGreat food and service.
Traditional Thai food. Good taste.
The food was excellent and the restaurant had a great environment. The service was also great.
MoreOh I love this place. I even got their food for my club event 😂. I mean their prices are pretty good, which worth the meal I ordered. The portion is quite big for me but well we always carry what left over so I don’t care about it.
MoreOne of my favorite places to dine overall. The atmosphere is nice, the customer service is good, but it's the food that keeps me coming through. The best Thai iced tea ever had. Family-owned and they care about their quality I've never had a bad order. Thank you Phayathai
MoreAmazing lunch specials! Everything was delicious from the soup to freshly made salad dressing to the satisfying main dish.
MoreI sent my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is yummy and the stuff is welcoming and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we pass a lovely time. highly recommended.
MoreTasty Thai food, in an unexpected location. The food has a touch more oil than I like, but I still recommend the restaurant.
MoreI've come here countless times over the years. Every time I do the smell reminds me of walking down the street in Bangkok. It is never a bad idea to go to Phayathai. Stupendous in every way!
MoreThe food was good. The staff was friendly. The place was clean.
I come here from time to time, the drunken noodles are delicious!!!! It's my favorite thing on the menu. All curries and pad thai are great. For drinks I've had the Thai tea and the young coconut juice, both awesome. Love the curry puffs and spring rolls, but stay away from the fried vegetable dumplings. I tried them the other day and they were disgusting. They are a greasy, gummy mess. And the only vegetables that were in them were some wilted scallions, literally nothing else. That's the only thing I've had that I don't like. Would recommend others to try.
MoreI like the food here. Their green thai curry is very good. I really enjoy their Roast duck in red curry. It is a little pricey but I would say that it can be shared between two people.
MoreDelicious food and very warm, friendly family style restaurant.
Amazing vegan options and awesome staff!
Great thai restaurant. I travel a lot and always have thai wherever I land. In this particular restaurant I had the Drunken Noodles and was pleased. Nice staff, quick service. Very reasonably priced.
MoreGood quality food 👌❤️❤️❤️
One of my favorite thai place around that area. But recently their portions got smaller. I guess because of the pandemic. But thats not fair. Thei green curry and pineapple fried rice are the best
MoreGreat, authentic food with great personal service.
Good place for hanging out with friends. The food is good, but sometimes it might take some time to wait.
MoreWe were all very impressed by the food! Even the wings are excellent.
Food was very good
Large portions. Tasty food. Semi friendly service.
It's not that I hated it but when you get a lunch menu you would think that the rice an the food would come together in one NO everything was separate and mostly everything was swimming in the sauce so it's like a soup hardly enough food I got the peanut salad dressing which is literally like peanut butter I could not pour it over my salad it was very good but like I said what good is it if it's thick like peanut butter
MoreThis place was pretty decent. I had the Green Curry which I thought had great flavor. My friends all had the Pad Thai and said it was alright. Their salad was pretty good too, however I told the waitress I'm allergic to nuts and somehow I still had a minor allergic reaction. I probably won't come again, but the food isn't terrible.
MoreLots of gluten free options (they have GF soy sauce). Great food. Good price. Even GF desert options.
MoreThe food is tasty. However, for the last few weeks we have been ordering the Crab Fried Rice to go, and the last 2 times it was almost all rice with a few crab flakes sprinkled on top. It was definitely not worth it, so we stopped ordering from there, especially now that more restaurants are reopening.
MoreOrder duck, best I had on the island so far. Seasoned well, right portions. Calamari is good with the sauce not overwhelming deep fried kfc taste. FYI pad Thai is really an American thing, if you want to taste Thai food order curries, noodles, and other dishes. Happy eating
MoreMy favorite place to go to for dinner. We are regulars here and the staff is very friendly and always welcomes us very kindly. We go there so much they even memorize our order! Desserts are very good too. Food is always fresh here and you’ll leave with a full stomach!
MoreI always stop getting some food here. I loved the quick customer service and well cooked dishes. Keep it up.
MoreSo good. Everything is so so good.
Big portions. Good spice. Courteous service. Classy decor.
Green Curry was great!! Thai iced tea also great!
Great food, Great service. Quick meal on Tuesday night. Wife and I had a 3 course meal with Thai iced teas for under $50! Go and you won't regret it!
MoreAs a vegan, it can be challenging to find places on Long Island that offer tasty cuisine and suit my diet. I've been going to Phayathai for about 3 years now, and the food has never been anything less than spectacular! I've turned many people (both friends and family) on to this place. Phayathai doesn't advertise, so they're not as well known as some other local Thai establishments, but their food is above and beyond. This is a great place to go on a Friday or Saturday night as you can pretty much always get a table with very short waiting time. Their curries are sublime, as is the spicy bamboo. They're very accommodating of requests and substitutions, and offer a range of delicacies to suit all diets. Start with the Thai salad with peanut sauce, order the green curry with tofu duck and finish with the mango with sticky rice. You will not be disappointed!
MoreI just liked their dishes. I always get great customer service here. The place is well kept and the staff members are always nice. I highly recommend this place.
MoreVery good and authentic food. The best i've had since my visit to Thailand. I highly recommend that you visit and check this place out.
MoreAs close as I've gotten to genuine Thai food here on Long Island. Nice staff also. Reasonable prices.
MoreAuthentic Thai food for a good price
I decided to try this place, as my usual Thai restaurant was closed. I would give zero stars if I could. Special instructions were not followed with my order. One of my chicken dishes tasted sour and strongly of fish. It was absolutely disgusting and inedible. This gives me major concern about cross contamination. All dishes were dry with very little sauce. Peanut sauce was far too sweet with no spice. Overall, the food was awful and overpriced. Next time my Thai place is closed, I’ll wait to order until they are open again. Thongpanchang in Blue Point is the best!!!
MoreGreat place to go for lunch. The food is exceptional.
